This picture was inspired by the art nouveau artist Alphonse Mucha's painting [link]
and by the recent Art Nouveau Disney Princess merchandise.
I started out with a sketch, scanned it, printed the line art up on canvas and then colored it in with markers. Then I scanned it into the computer and edited it in Adobe Photoshop adding a 50% transparent layer of color over some parts, adding a pattern to the part behind Jasmine and then I used the dodge and burn tools to really make it shine.
